Our Story
Our Story
Some things start with a business plan. A pitch deck. A five-year strategy.
Ours started with coffee.
Sophia and I had been friends for years before we ever talked about building something together. We were both the kind of women who spent too long in fitting rooms, walked out empty-handed, and drove home frustrated. Not because we were difficult. Because the options just weren't there.
Everything was either too young, too fast, or too forgettable.
We wanted clothing that felt intentional. Pieces that a woman in her 30s or 40s could wear and feel like herself not like she was trying too hard or giving up. We wanted quality that lasted more than a season. We wanted to shop somewhere that actually understood us.
So we built it.
Sophia & Claire Vancouver started the way most good things do — with more enthusiasm than experience, more passion than plan. We curated our first collection from our living rooms. We argued over every piece. We only kept what we would wear ourselves.
That was the rule from day one. If we wouldn't wear it, it doesn't make the cut.
What started as two friends with strong opinions about fashion became something we never expected. Canadian women from Vancouver to Halifax found us, trusted us, and kept coming back. Every order felt personal. Every message from a happy customer reminded us why we started.
And now we're moving.
Not because something went wrong. Because something went very right.
We outgrew our space. We're moving to a larger warehouse so we can serve more of you, better, and faster. Before we close this chapter, we're doing something we've never done before, offering our entire collection at prices that feel almost wrong to write down.
This is our moving sale. It's our way of saying thank you.
Because without you, there would be no bigger warehouse to move to.
With love,
Sophia & Claire, Vancouver 🤍
